Members of the Darlington Nuclear Power Station, Pickering Nuclear Engineering Station and Bruce Power Site are entitled to travel, room and food allowances. The PWU/OPG (Nuclear) Collective Agreement provides eligibility and the amounts to be paid. During the work under the PWU/Hydro One Appendix „A,” LiUNA members are represented by the PWU as members of the VET. PWU members are called the Ontario Power Generation (Nuclear) through the Canadian Joint Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) /PWU Dispatch for all power trades. The craftsmen are led by the Construction Union (BTU) under the Chestnut Park Accord Addendum. Non-commercial members working at Inergi are referred to the Non-Market Worker Information Program (SERP). Members who refer to the work of the SERP include information technology, logistics, office and management positions. Members who work under the SERP are not entitled to travel or room and meal allowances if they are after. Work from home unless the employer transfers them. Inspectors are usually recruited based on their geographic location.
Inspectors recruited outside their geographical location are entitled to the same maintenance allowances as regular electrical inspectors.
